Brief Adjacencies is an ongoing project. It began as a reflection on the state of repose, reminiscent of different stages of a sigh. But in proximity, the individual pieces began to form connections with one another. Briefly adjacent to one another they seemed to hold conversations, and to hold space for one another. Each piece is individually numbered. As they move out into the world as individual objects those numbers represent their once-close connections they were briefly adjacent to.
